We’re a proud New Zealand company, originally founded by the Watson family in rural Wairarapa. Now owned by Ngāi Tahu. Ngāi Tahu is the principal Māori iwi (tribe) of the southern region of New Zealand. Its takiwā (tribal area) is the largest in New Zealand and extends from Blenheim, Mount Mahanga and Kahurangi Point in the north to Stewart Island in the south.
Oha, the Māori word meaning gift, is the name given to the company that produces this prized mānuka honey. We are focussed on becoming the world’s most trustworthy producer of mānuka honey. Oha Honey is genuine and authentic in our business dealings, and we are working on forming long term, trusted partnerships with our customers and land partners.
Just as honey is a product with absolute integrity (it only has one ingredient – honey), Oha Honey is working hard to become known as a company that conducts its business with integrity.
